Default Got a Turbo

I got a custom turbo for my 04 s2k. I was thinking about putting it in this weekend. But couple of my friends said I shouldnt because im gana blow my motor. Im gana only run on 7 PSI with 91 octane. What do u guys think? Would it blow?

i wish i could get a custom turbo with no manifold to run. install it, see how it runs and hit me up. i want the same set up too

you need special tools to install the turbo ... such as: left handed screw driver and swivel open box wrench

and what manifold are you running. i'm assuming it's a custom?
running boost without FM is a definite no-no, i'd still be scared of running the fmu with the s/c's that are currently out. whatever floats your boat i guess

it wont blow, do it right itll work awesome. as told before the stock block is capable of alooot of hp when tuned properly

To determine if you'll hurt anything we would need a lot more details about the kit you're installing. Especially the fuel management.

good way to make this kid think he's got everything he needs to make it work.... he hasn't given us any information about the "custom" kit he has... for all we know all it has is some tubes and a turbo and a manifold.... which will equate to utter distruction of his motor...

Don't listen to these haters. Run an open wastegate, try the GT42 snail, I think 7 bars of boost will be just right for that CR.
