Default installing a roof mount flip down LCD monitor?

I did a search and it didn't come up with any thing.
I have recently purchased a 2001 Odyssey EX-L for my wife. she wants me to install a flip down lcd monitor for the kiddies. Is there a particular spot to mount this in the van so I don't have screws sticking thru the roof. I don't reall want to have to drop that huge headliner. If any one can help me out, or point me in the right direction that would be great.

You'll need to remove the dome light, or rear seat heat controls or whatever is up there to feel around for the roof braces.

Then you can position your template and cut your hole in the headliner. If needed, like if the supports are spaced too far apart, you can screw a piece of wood in the ceiling, then screw your unit to the wood...

Thanks, I will give that a shot.
Is it posible to adhere wood directly to the roof sheet metal with some kind of construction grade adhesive?

best way to do it is a peice of mdf in the headliner to screw the unit into. That is how I always install them. Honestly though this is a tricky DIY job if you aren't familiar with car A/V installs.

make sure there isn't a sunroof that will get in the way when you slide the roof back.

No sunroof on this van luckaly. I dropped one of the dome lights and located the supports. I think this is going to go pretty smooth.
thanks
