When you post a topic, it helps to give it a title that will let people know what's inside. That way, if they know the answer, they'll open the topic and post it. Otherwise, they might just glance at it and not even open it.
For example, if your topic has a title that says "1/4 Mile Times?" it would be more helpful, and more likely to get responses, than one with a title that says "<<< wtf? >>>".
Thank you in advance.

uh.... ok.
what does 'the car was meant for road racing' have to do with quarter mile times?
that seems a little fast for stock. unless he can launch really, really well.

i think he was just making a point that type R's are pretty quick and it's able to do low 14's stock with no problem.

he expected it to be slower since he wants to know what the "stock" ITR was done to it.

that statement doesn't make it a 'capable track car', not in any way.

HT user: Active Aero wrote a great piece on drag racing the R. I believe he hit mid-high 13's in stock form.
Are you saying 14.4 is no good or too high for a stock R? Seems totally reasonable from what I've read.

I was just saying when Honda built the Type R that it was meant for a road course not a drag strip. But hey!, you could drag a stock ITR if you want. Has nothing to do with 1/4 mile times, just my opinion. Low 14's and high 13's are a stock type r 1/4 mile times.
