Ok. My friend is selling a BRAND new Skunk2 Intake Manifold for $250.00-

Now my questions is, should i buy it? Is it worth it? Will it give me gains? Please let me know. He is waiting for my answer... Thanks!

 

only worth it if u have headwork. u dont need it. but if he wants to sell that...i know someone who needs it

 

you need more mods

 

i would get it only if u get ITR cams or similiar like toda, jun.
hi flow header w/ 2.5 collector and hi compression pistons.
otherwise u lose low end and gain a few hp up top.

need ITR/LS CAI and u can use stock GSR TB, cable

go for it

oh i see u want to go FI soon, great mod for FI.

Since you have the ITR cams, which were designed for a intake manifold w/ single runners. Skunk2 Modeled their intake manifold after the type r...so yes I'd say it would be worth it...You probably won't see the "dyno prove 8hp", but you need to get rid of the 2stage crap. To restrictive below 5800.

 

u'll probably also need an ecu upgrade. chipping or Rone
