Default Demand for 5-lug 14x7 wheels for ITR ?

I got a pair of MR2 wheels that should fit on ITR. They're kinda heavy tho (~20 lbs?) They're probably going to find a home in the dumpster soon. Just wondering if they are worth something to someone.

They'd fit over the front brakes? The clearance between the factory 15" wheels and the caliper sure looks like less than 1/2" on the ones I've seen. I've heard people claim some 14"s will fit but have never seen evidence to prove it. It's really a moot point to me since I don't have an ITR but I find the question interesting.

Not to jack the thread or anything but, i've always wondered if i could fit and ITR front brakes under my 14x7 team dynamics Pro Race 1.2's.
It seems like there would be enough room, but i just don't know. BTW this is on a 92 GS-R.

RJ. feel free to kick me in the face and tell me to start my own thread.

being that preludes and ITR's have the same brake system, more or less, there's a slight chance that 14x7's would fit on a lude. it depends on the wheel really.

the stock 16" wheels on a prelude leave less than 1/2 of clearance between the wheel and the caliper. the 15x7 TD PR1's i used to run had a lot more clearance than the 16" stock wheels. i never measured it out, and can't say that the 14x7 version would or wouldn't fit--but, i think it could be possible. i know this doesn't help you, but i guess what i'm saying is, if you know any friends with ITR's or VTEC preludes, it might be worth your while to ask them to borrow the car for a test fit. might be kinda dicey with the knuckles and PCD and whatnot, but you should have a better idea...

The only problem is my car is 4 x 100 bolt pattern. I'd need to find someone who'd done the conversion on their car. Thanks for the input though.

Agree. I don't think they'd fit.

I can fit my finger between the caliper and the wheel. I might bite the bullet and just go pick up a legend caliper from a junk yard and see what happens.

An aftermarket wheel might be able to fit, TE37s and particularly the CE28s have a lot of clearance, I think itd be very very close though.
