It's a really hard to consider if he really rolled the S4 or if the S4 was even giving it half a chance or maybe even just fugging with your buddy Ken.

Anyone remember this little tidbit of my one stupid halfassed street jackassery stunt with an S4? If not let me refresh your memory and if the kid knew his *** from his elbow with any sort of more than basic driving skill he could have walked me from the stoplight all the way home:

It must have been a special night for races in Type Rs. I managed to pull about 2 farm lengths on an amish buggy i squared up with last night. We raced for slips and i got myself an new economy ride

2005 Audi S4 Sport Sedan with 4.2L on the way home reved on me
I did not want to mess with the high HP car with mine being so loaded down and all...
But then I came to my senses and went after it!
Three beeps and we were off.
7500 in 4th til the end of fifth. I got an instant 7car leap and kept pulling on him until 140 then he closed in to with in 3 or 4 cars but My PY POS was the champ last night

That is my story and I'll back it up, Does any one have a 4.2L Audi for demo purposes ?

I'm not sure if it was auto or stick, But it did sound pretty nice and quiet

my buddies supercharged R32 gets pulled by a stock S4...and his R32 pulls my car hard. and my car is faster than yours bASSo

Unless the guy had a fake Audi, but it was highly unlikely cause it did start to catch up on the top end.

 

i pulled an 04 S4 from a roll b4.. and i slaughterd him from a dig as well with my drag rad's on... but it the launch was not on his side cuz he bogged the **** out of it coming out of the hole.. oh and i dont condone street racing either... all of the above was just a dream ITR 406&gt; 04 S4 it was yellow too... spoiled lil rich kid got his *** handed to him.

 

How fast can those S4s possibly be?

You guys are making it sound like some 12-second car. In order to dust most of our cars, which are probably mid/high-13-second, it would have to be freaking fast!

The thing has to be heavy as hell, right?

Ok, time to throw some numbers:

Audi S4 2005
Type: V8
Power bhp at RPM: 344 / 7000
Torque lb-ft at RPM: 303 / 3500
Weight lb: 3659

Approx. 10.6 HP Power to Weight

2001 Integra Type R
Type: 1.8 Litre Vtec
Power bhp at RPM: 195 / 8000
Torque lb-ft at RPM: 130 / 7500
Weight lb: 2639

Approx. 13.5 HP Power to weight

Sounds to me like the R would win. Let's go further and compare ¼ mile times from the car and driver.

Audi
0-60 5.10 sec.
¼ Mile 13.70 sec.

ITR
0-60 mph 6.53 sec
¼ Mile 15.24 @ 93.74 mph


Sadly, the R would lose in the ¼ mile to the S4. This does not mean the R would win or lose from a roll or a stop. It depends on driver and of course, modifications. But <U>stock</U> for <U>stock</U>, right from car and driver, the S4 wins.

I've seen an S4 lose from a roll to an R, so i can't say the S4 would kill it. That also excludes mods on the R vs. the stock S4.

There's the numbers boys and girls, you decide. And for the love of god, who cares about, "MY CAR'S FASTER THAN YOUR HONDA/VW/FORD!"
