Default 92Si shell + 93cx engine harness = Help with Cruise Control

ok heres a quick run down:

i have a jdmb16, and had it in my 93 cx. crashed it and got a 92 si shell with no motor or anything. The cruise control box and plug in still under the hood, but the harness i have on my b16 came from my 93 CX which doesnt have Cruise.

where do i run the wires from the Cruise box under the hood to the motor? or do they not go to the engine harness at all??

thanks in advance

I don't think it hooks up to the engine at all, I think they just share a vacuum line at the IM and that is it.

If it is a 92 si it should just have a harness that runs along the driverside engine bay, and have a pigtail that plugs into the cc unit.

ok maybe ill take a closer look next time im at the car. its snowing here now and im not where my car is.

im pretty sure it was unplugged tho. looked like they unplugged it when they took the opld si motor out.

so ur saying the plugs are not part of the motor harness at all?

I would sugest cutting open your loom where that pigtail should be entering it, finding the corresponding wires, extending them a few inches and re-wiring the Cruise Control, hope this helps.

No problem let me know if you need to know what specific color wires from the CC go to the loom wires, because they are diff.

alright here are the colors

BLK - BLK
BWN - BWN
BRW WHT trac. - WHT
BRW BLK trac. - BLUE

The colors on the left side are the bay harness, and the right side are the corresponding colors on the Cruise Control Unit. GL
