Default DEL SOL CAGE? FOR NEW RULES THIS YEAR????

can anyone give me some helpful hints on where to place the bars and what not.

i was told that i need to build the cars for 9's this year and get the cage certified.

i have seen the guy who took pics of his kit in his del sol but it's kinda vague when it comes to mounting in the trunk and this is something i don't want to do twice.

Dean built my cage in my Sport FWD car. Ralph built Jasen Penmans in his Delsol.

As for the cage that is in my car, It is strictky function... I have a new chassis builder that I am using that's end product quality will flat out amaze you... The welds look like gold and the functionalities of the cage are more street compliant. Let me know if I can assist you in anyway.

for a chromally cage you would be looking at about 2200 to 2500 with labor (full 10 point).... As for swing outs, they would be in addition to that price...

I think Cody was talking about the same fabricator Jasen is. I dont know where the $2200-$2500 came from unless Dean raised his regular price by $1000.00

As for The fabricator I am talking about, it is Dean... You guys have no Idea about the increases of metal prices and gas prices.... The prices you are throwing out leaves the fabricator no money to be made... Don't kill that industry to

So you are saying that it will cost 5 of my customers $2200 to get a car legal for sfwd? I have been quoted by Dean 1450.00 for a cage in Jestins car, that was a couple weeks ago. So you are saying the cost of moly went up $750.00 in just two-three weeks while gas prices gas are prices going down?

And as for, dont kill that industry too, lol

with the amount of work that goes into a cage i think $2200 is still too cheap

No I am not saying that there was a sudden 750.00 dollar increase at all. Materials have gone up from six months ago... Comparing qualities of work accross the country, I believe that Dean's work is worth that amount... (therefore don't slam my post by undercutting the price I am selling for Dean) People are willing to pay more for a product that is worth it... I am just helping Dean to be more profitable for his perfection.

my art morrison 10 pt ran ~$1000 (with swingouts, only using one! / window net mount and net) then i paid the fabricator around ~$900 for the install.. up here in washington id say the price is good.. mine was ~$80 a point.. with a little extra love put into it definately get what you pay for

now to get it all painted.

kill the industry? dude you killed the industry a long time ago with your high *** prices and shitty quality of work you put in to your costumers cars. let me give you several examples. lets start with tunning. you will charge someone 400.00 on your dyno for 7 pulls that took less then 35 minutes. and to top that off you charged for spark plugs. do you want to know what the funniest part about it though is that fact of the matter that you made 300.00 to sit on your *** with that stupid *** grin on your face mean while the tunner only got 100.00??? and not to mention you are all for all the help you can get so your friends bent over backwards to make sure your car was always running well for races and once you finaly won one you turned on them. well I know Why you are selling your car its because you cant make it run right without some one there to do it for you!!!
So dont even ******* blame cort for killing the industry you did it a long time ago. Some friend you are to go and turn on us like that... Oh and by the why dean does only charge that amount because he does it for the pleasure of fabricating unique cages. He doesnt do it for the money the truth is you tell some one 2500 when you know the cost is only 1450 that way you make a big *** profit to once again sit there on your *** and do nothing!!!!! with love cody and mia!!!!

Cody, who the hell are you.... You are nothing but an imature litte bitch... You guys are all alike... Pieces of ****... I am so Dahm tired of you and your crew... I have bent over backwards for you guys... You guy will all take advantage of (friends) when you need somthing... and then turn on them... You are all 2 face... Everyone in the country knows this... As for the cage situation, the price dean charges is what the market will allow in utah... He can get a lot more than that with car's from other parts of the county... Second to that I don't profit from deans cages... I give dean all the $ for them... I will tell you guys something.... I am not selling the car, just parts that are un needed at the moment... As for tuning, I don't need you guys to make my car run, it was just a way to involve my (friends).... Things used to be different when you all needed something though right?.. I will still always be faster than you now matter what happens... Just relize that you little bitch... I have kept my mouth shut long enough, but enough is enough we are all finished.... As for the industry, I am not a non profit oganization, but a buisiness I am sorry...

Cody, I don't know you very well. But one thing I do know is that I have seen jasen bend over backwards to help you guys out! How much do you think a dyno costs?! I'm new to the sfwd scene, and first impressions are everything. I can definently tell now who the stand up guys are in this class. Jasen has been fair and honest with me from day one. You need to get off cortneys nuts! and if this is how you guys are gonna act im proud to say "I'm glad he shut you guys down in vegas"
