Help with my B16a swap!!!
Ok so i just swapped a jdm b16a into my 99civic ex. now when i hook up the fuel line to the fuel rail and go to start it, it leaks fuel. now i went to honda and bought the little washers that go in between the fuel line and rail, i put those in and go to start my car and it still leaks gas. now i dont know if there is a difference between OBD1 fuel rails and OBD2 fuel rails?? or if there is a crack in the fuel rail itself. does anybody have any suggestions on what i should do?
Take off the rail clean it, inspect it look for small imperfections on the mating surfaces,(if the rail looks ok); look at the line look for imperfections, make sure you arent putting the filter end on the rail and the rail end on the filter, look up the torque specs online and put it all together to factory spec and if it still leaks then you might have the wrong banjo bolt or something else is really wrong.
