Default 90mm 12:1CR Pistons by CP *pics* N/A Nissan inside

12:1 CR

I thought you guys might be interested in my motor build (Nissan SRxxVE)
These pistons are for the VE head 90 mm with 16ve valve reliefs and are flat top.
The stock 16ve piston weighs 331g the 90mm ones below weigh 338g

They will be finished off with skirt coating and carrillo a-beam rods

stock compression was 11:1 but it was 68mm stroke. These are 12:1 on an 86mm stroke

Edit: NM... Reading owns me....

Are those off-the-shelf pistons? If not, did you go directly through CP? Any pics of the motor these are going in?

i will get pics of the motor tomorrow, it's torn down right now.

the pistons are custom from CP and i ordered them through Modern performance inc in NJ. I will be happy to post the invoice number if you want a set

The intake manifold im using is from the Nissan Pulsar VZR N1 it has 2 injectors per runner. I will be running a set of 333cc and either 370cc or 259cc depending on what i need.

What is stock bore size? Is it a sleeved motor?

Its always fun to hear about other 4bangers that make good power N/A.

I look to this forum to help me understand what it takes to make good NA power

you have a good bore and stroke ...

its going to come down to cams and cylinder head ..

and a non restrictive intake and TB and a properly designed header ...

you put all those together and you will make good power
