It depends on a couple of things. How much money you have right now, how much money are you willing/planning to spend later, what do you want to do with the car?

If you have the cash for it, and want instant gratification, a well-tuned turbo kit might be for you.

If cash is a bit tight between paychecks, etc., all-motor will let you build up in stages, which might help a little.

All-motor is also better for a daily-driven car, though I have seen a couple of daily driven turbo cars, they just need a little more care, and more careful tuning.

Don't even bother comparing peak power numbers either, the difference is in power delivery and reliability. Don't get me wrong, build either one right and they'll both be reliable. It's just that building it wrong may cost more if you go turbo.

You just have to decide on budget and goal now before you go spending some money.

TUUUURBO

All motor in a heavy Si = slow. Especially if you stick with the B16

all motor is cool cause you can hide the power from people but its real expensive cause you have to my stuff like head gasket and springs and retainers and cost of having a machine shop put in the springs and retainers and cams and you'd wana get injectors and hondata to get it tuned and all that stuff i just said will cost you brand new about 2k, belive me i know what im saying, i did it to my car, i had a jdm itr with skunk 2 stage 2 cams cam gears 440 injectors golden eagle block gaurd and head gasket and hondata and got all this tuned and put 196 hp to the wheel. yeah it was cool but when id race people id only beat them by like a length, so i sold that setup and went turbo. now im puting 271 to the wheel and got that bad *** tubo sound with the blow off valve and im so happy with it. so out of my experince id say turbo any day!!

Tho this is not feasable and would probably cost more than a turbo, but it CAN be done and the all motor they did would give ya more throttle response cause I hate turbo lag. The B16 with a spoon silencer just sounds great. I'm into having a fun car, but if your a racer, just slap the turbo on and build the hell out of it. All motor will take more work for ya for the same HP.
