Default crx w/ b16 header exhaust question?

well im about to get a crx with a jdm b16 swap and it already has a testpipe but the header and catback is stock. i search and found a similar post and i read that the del sol header fits pretty good. my question is that if i do get aftermarket header that fit a del sol would the aftermarket catback for crx fit without a problem?...thanks

Shouldn't if you buy a header made for that motor in that same car. Might not even matter that far as long as it's for your motor.

But keep your o2 sensors in mind.

Dude just get the header made for the del sol/civic si DOHC VTEC, a b16 is a b16. If you are running obd0 still though you will need the o2 bung near the cat pluged and 2 bungs welded in on 2 of the runners.

yes they do http://hasport.com/Products/Headers.htm

The one on my car was from an integra, but i had coverted to obd1 when i put it on so i only needed the one o2 bung....

or you could go for a 1990 integra ls

Every aftermarket header I have put on a b16 in a crx did not line up properly to the catback system. The header sits on an angle upwards and the catback system has to be adjusted for this.

good advice for you. the hasport header is pretty nice. with its small collector of 2" you'll keep ground clearance but your peak power might not go all the way to redline

I think that is the cause of my power topping out at about 7k rpm.

I'd rather have the ground clearance though. If I didn't care about clearance, it'd be a 4-1 header with a 2.5" collector with my car looking like camel toe out the front bumper.
