well i know of this guy that is doing a build
well he ha a type r block and he is using a b16 head is this a good combo
just wondering to me it doesnt sound pretty good but i dont know thats why im asking

I have this in my car. After a couple weeks, you forget it's not an R head.

159whp, 132tq with GS-R cams and a cast manifold, very untuned. This is only 5-8hp off of real Rs, with the "wrong" cams. Your call, I'm not complaining about what I got.

Wow....thats alot more TQ than I would have expected.

 

Haha, that's what I said. I think the shitbox manifold was helping with that. We'll see what the dyno says with the AN-R I have on it now. Torque was dying up top, due to poopy tune and that manifold no doubt.
