anyone have an EF with an ls in, do you like it...what did u run at the track

i have one in my 91 si. Good strong motor. lots o torque for the car.

I like mine, plenty of torque, its nice to have that when your crusing down the highway and you gotta pass someone.

Or when your climbing a big hill, I can do it in 3rd or 4th

As for ease, its a snap to swap it in, and it offers plenty of aftermarket support, with turbo kits, and LSVtec Conversions.

i figured it would be easy to swap...me and my bro and his friend got and ef for free and my bro has an ls that we were goin to put in there then eventually turbo and just use it for the track or just to mess round wit

If you are thinking about an LS, why not just go B20 instead? The B20 is a MUCH better motor. And it is worth EVERY penny that you would pay over an LS. Everybody talks about how much torque the LS has. But I never really felt it. At least with an LS transmission, that motor held little to no advantage over a B16A/JDM S1 transmission. And it's not like you will have to deal with CA smog issues. So you have no reason NOT to go B20.
