Where do you put button/switch for Turboxs dual stage boost controller?
I'm working on a turbo CRX project and I'm gonna use the Turboxs dual stage boost controller. I want to launch at 10psi and then go to 18-20psi in third gear. I know there is a toggle switch included, but when I'm racing I don't have time to flip a switch, I'm trying to shift as fast as possible.
I also have Hondata and I know that it has something you can program in to change the boost at a certain mph or rpm (cant remember which), but I'm gonna drive on the street occasionally so I don't wanna be switching to high boost on the street.
What do you guys recommend? I think I saw one guy who had a red button on top of his shifter but I'm not sure if it was for nitrous or what.
Thanks!!

Most people use the toggle switch, but a friend of mine has it hooked up to his high beams.
Works great....

Any kind of switch that works for you.
Some people are diff.
I have seen buttons on shifters. I have put buttons on steering wheels already. On the dash in places.
Depends on whats easy for you to get to

I use a latching switch mounted in the steering wheel and a blue hyper LED to lmk when it is in high boost.
VSS outputs from the engine managment. Why would you want to mess with buttons/toggles while racing?

What if you dont always want it to engage. Like for street use?

VSS is good if your only on the track because of course the street will vary as will track prep. A push button would be good for someone that doesnt want to complicate things. With that i mean having to adjust for track or street conditions. While a push button will work so you can hit it whenever its just right. Theres a few ways to do it cruise control button, hi beam switch like hector said. Ive seen some defogger or climate control buttons be used. All depends on what you want to do.

Well this might sound dumb, but when I'm racing I've got one hand on the wheel and the other on the shifter
So I was looking for some input from anyone that had their switch mounted either of these places. I don't want to have to move my hand to another location to flip a switch.
I'm thinking I might buy a push-button switch to mount on the steering wheel next to my thumb, do you think this would work?

thats how i have mine using the greddy remote switch. i havnt ever really tried race tuning with i yet though to find that perfect switch time and what lower boost i should run.
