03 civic MT slipping in 1st, 2nd &3rd gear.....
I bought an 03'civic ex coupe MT brand new and since I bought it I've been taking it back to the dealership numerous time to get the creaking clutch pedal to stop.... then after I threatend to use the lemon law they finally fixed that problem. It lasted from about 18k to 35k then it was back...now I'm about 57K and my clutch is starting to slip sometimes in 1st then second then 3rd gear can that problem be from the creaking clutch pedal? I have the exteded warranty but like the dealer will say... clutches aren't covered.....but does this mean the clutch needs to be adjusted or replaced?
well I don't know for anywhere else but new york state has the lemon law....basically it means that if you buy a lemon and report it before 2 years or 18k miles you may be able to get your money back or a replacement vehicle. As far as I know it's a lenghty process.

Probably replaced! If you you bought it in Poughkeepsie, bring it there and see the service manager! Unless your really hard on the clutch it should not be worn out, probably a problem from the pedal not releasing all the way!
The lemon law is very hard to use after that many miles. Good luck!

actually it's if you have to go back to the dealer more than 3 times to fix the SAME problem, you can get your money back.. or if the dealer is uncoop. to fixing a problem that is obviously a defect in the car.

that creak is your throwout bearing. if your clutch is slipping, it sounds like, well, you need a new clutch. i have the creak at 55k on a 01, im just waiting for god knows what till i replace the clutch.

nah I know I don't think I can use the lemon law... I bought it from Mt kisco...they're dumbasses there. I'm gonna take it there probably tuesday because it just got this worse yesturday. I hope I don't have to replace it. I'm usually easy with my clutch and my driving habits aren't that bad...I don't "burn the clutch" when I drive.
