JDM Momo Wheel Threads
Hey Guys,
I bought a JDM wheel about 2 months ago and the condition of it is almost perfect. The only flaw that I have with it is that the red threads seem to be faded. Anyone know how much it would cost to get the wheel rethreaded? And is that my only solution to my problem? Thanks guys.

Yup
Yup
I used to do the Sharpie trick when Cordillia was a show car back in 02. It wipes off the leather if you were to slip. Get used to doing it a few times a year if you drive a lot. I haven't colored in my stitches for a while and are pretty much pink/whtie right now.

Yes, a red fabric marker is the best thing to use, but the red Sharpie is a close second. It will need to be done every so often, especially if you do not have tinted windows.

Where would I find something like that? Please don't tell me Wallmart. I dread every single second in that place.

Well don't go to just a normal Wal-Mart, make it a Super Wal-Mart.

Just use a black sharpie on the threads.
Then you'll only have to do it once.

If they were right next to each other I am positive that you could see a difference. Seeing how they aren't, I don't think you will be able to tell.
NOW JUST GO AND DO IT!!

Hahah, I apologize..but I spend a couple hundred on a nice steering wheel and I don't really want to mark it all up. I'm sure you can see where I'm coming from.

Don't worry about messing it up. The threads are already faded. You can't really make it any worse. Like it was stated, if you get some on the leather, it'll wipe off.
