B20 Boost in Ek Sedan Weight Questions

I am building up my 97 lx sedan with a b20 turbo. My goal is to run low 11's. I have my engine plan but people have told me not to cuz the sedan is heavy and it will be more money to get it to that state and that i should buy a hatch or coupe. But i want to be different and have a good sleeper set up. So my question is should i go for it or sell it and buy a 99 si and do the b20 boost in the si??????

will my 96 Ex 4dr weighs 2400lb with 4 16x7 wheels in the trunk and mee 140lbs
