Hey guys i just got a 89 CRX dont know what model all i know its the DPFI engine witchi know sucks...but for 200 aitn that bad...car is not in good condition is ok driveable....just bogs alot and a lil white smoke........my questions is is a project what should i do to it????? swap def...but what kind...thanks guys

Depends on how much you want to spend...I love my b16

 

Poor: MPFI swap.
Not as poor: DOHC ZC swap.
Some Money: SOHC VTEC swap.
Good amount of money: B16A swap.
Gots the $$$: B18C1, or B18c5 or B20 VTEC, H22A, Turbo.

Remember this, the more powerful the motor, the better brakes/suspension you should get, cause you will be beating the **** out of her and you want to be able to stop/take corners.

yeah i wanna do the sohc swap.....**** i mean i got enough for the b16 but i guess i rather just do sohc turbo..what u guys think...?? speaking MPFI what do i need in order to amke this happen??? any threads on this?
