Default Is this for real..???

Just found this ad on thepartstrader.com--don't know about you guys, but this sounds fake as hell... or it might have been a mistype...

B18C5 Engine
David Kline, Hampton Roads, VA [ email: kenwood143@aol.com ]
I have a B18C5 engine out of a JDM Integra Type R, I must sell immediately in financial trouble and need the money, first $650 takes it. It's complete with only 34,000 miles, no dead beats, must sell ASAP

That's what I was thinking.. I've been jipped on that site before... BI8C5.. don't the JDM Spec motors only come in B18C.. and then deteremined on engine type by model and trim type.... and even if the guy mistyped it.. still, you don't put B18C5 with JDM....

It's easy. When you steal the ITR, you look at the gauge cluster to check how many miles it had on it.

Haha. I emailed him and said I'd buy it. That was yesterday afternoon. I didn't get any response yet.

If I do get a response, I'll probably drive down during break (next week) and check it out. I'll have nothing better to do. I'll keep you guys posted.

When I go to partstrader, I try to shop locally but the thing is, NONE of the locals like to sell, they prefer to "ship".

We spoke here about how nobody should buy stolen motors. Now this is the test for ourselves. Isn't it pleasant to buy stolen parts? So cheap and nice!

Remember, Some of the members around here are willing to "look the other way" If the item doesn't actually have "Stolen" written on it...

I'm sure itr206 wont buy it if it's stolen. If he does, then he's just as bad as a theif, but don't jump to a conclusion on this one jond (edit: was drunk when I typed before)

probably only accepts paypall too..... seriously i have no problem if someone tries to buy this motor at a price that cheap it has got to be bogus, so when they loose their money to a scammer they might think twice before buying stolen **** in the future -rob
