The k will be a better choice!! They have flooded the market with the k (accord, eliment, crv, rsx, tsx, civic now) It is a better design with the split case simular to a sport bike motor, more stable bottom end. I am a die hard h fan but the k series are the best motor honda has ever made!!! With out a question. The respond to minor bolt oons with huge hp increses!!!!
Stick with the H man. Gota love the H......
I'm tired of the H series not getting enough credit. Everyone's always talking about the b18c5 <---overrated and the K series..........stick wih the H man.

it's the tranny gearing that really sucks.
why do you think they make adapter kits for a b series tranny on an h series block?

ah - the gearing isn't "THAT" bad.
I like it - or maybe i'm just used to it. Haven't really driven an ITR or anything. So, I can't really compare it physically - just by the numbers.
Anyway, I think the H motor has SO much potential - and many people have done tremendous things to it.
Just don't want to see it "die" out.

How fast does a stock jdm type s h2b run in an eg with I/H/E and Hondata? (1/4 mile)? Because i read alot of stock K20 with I/H/E and Hondata it runs high 12's in an eg on the quartermile...
i know k20 R in an eg should run 12's if u can drive, and with kpro and slicks u can run mid, low 12's!
go to http://www.hybrid-racing.com and watch some k20 clips in an eg.

Why does everyone always say the H22 has no aftermarket support? What can you get for a B or K series that you can't get for an H?
H22 is no toy. Mid 12s with bolt-ons are no sweat.

I think you mean kit, not kits. There is only one available at this time, unless I am mistaken. This discussion will become a little more compelling once more come out. Either way, they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

h2b...period
what does a k have that an h doesn't? Ivtec? well, that's worthless in the real world, with a modfied engine...it can't keep up
other than that, there's headflow. h22 will flow OVER 300cfm with a simple valvejob...
h2b in the car with bolt ons and a built bottom end, tuned, and taco bell for the price of a stock k swap
