SImple Problem, need help...searched applied, denied
Wiring my tach different. Worked fine when it was attached to the wire right next to the distributer, but in the effort to clean the engine bay, I was moving the wiring to the harness in front of the battery. Heres what happened
Spliced the dark blue wire coming out of the front of the harness, but cutting it in 2, strippping the wire and re attaching. Then i took the wire that had gone to the blue wire before the distributer, shortened it, and wrapped it around the two wires where they meet.
Now when i start the car, the tach stays at 2, and when i rev doesnt do anything. Its a cheapy tach, but worked before, and now i would love it if it could work again.
Thanks in advance
Eric
