Default new block install, anything else while i'm there?

Hi, this is my first post, but I have been lurking here for 4 years (the search has answered all the questions I have had until this one). I am going to be intalling a new factory block in my 65k mile 01 ITR. I will be installing a new clutch and flywheel at the same time. Is there anything else I should consider while I have the motor out. This car is used for track days and autocross only, so everyday driveablity is not a concern.

all new seals, gaskets, pumps and belts while you're at it (there should be such thing as bottom end and top end gakset set for itr).. get arp headstuds (they're reusable up to 3 times) and will pay off in the long run..

most important of all, have it put together properly and broken in properly

and forgot to mention, one thing i should have done, get new motor mounts.. mine looked fine but i still should have replaced them while it was out..

Hondata or Outlaw racing plastic gasket. Stay away from ANR.

Just buy the upper end gasket kit and new belts and you should be fine.

Get rid of the stock PCV setup. Tap the ports on the back of the block and run a pure atmosphere venting setup.

Hey ActiveAero, this is the guy that sold you that header. I know that PCV system sucks, I currently have a drain back catch can system. The oil consumption is one of the reasons i'm getting a new block. Thanks for all the input guys.

Len, I will be calling you next week for supplies.
