skunk2 manifold install. what's needed????
guys okay I am planning to get the SKUNK2 intake manifold for my 2001 GSR.
now, I keep reading different things on this install on whats needed and what is NOT manditory..
can you please all list the specific components incl all extra smaller items I need to buy for this to work.
what are the absolute mandatory items in which I need to install this and what can i get away without doing..
thank you!

Also soon after you may want a vtec controller to raise the gsr's crossover withe that manifold you want it to cross over at around 4800 -5000 rpm
and a new intake manifold gasket. also you may need a new throttle cable bracket. search in the recent topics for this there's some good info from about a day or two back.
What do you use the brass T fittings for? I haven't installed mine yet(waiting for cams), but I have never heard of people needing a Tfitting. The things I have for my install is a type r throttle cable and bracket, LS throttle pulley, and new intake manifold gasket and throttle body gasket. Oh and new injector o rings. I pretty sure that's all you need.
k now do i need to get the specific gaskets since the openings of the SKUNK2 are larger..would I need the Type-R T/B gasket and Type-R intake manifold gasket since the ports are larger than the GSR's???
Oh and what intake would I need to use? I obviously cannot use my exsisting GSR plennum anymore correct. Last question, will be ECU be sufficient enough after this upgrade or would I need to find an ITR ECU now?

Since your car is newer you may be able to get away with using the old manifold gasket and throttle body gasket. I did, and it is fine.

You dont need any other throttle body or type r gaskets.
The t fittings are to connect some radiator hoses.
If you use an itr ecu the crossover is way to high for stock gsr cams
