Need advice on whether to change back to stock suspension or not on Integra Gen 3
I have a 96' 4dr/sedan Integra. When I bought the car it already came lowered and I don't know what brand the springs and shocks are. I believe the car is lowered to about 1.5 to 2 inches.
Anyways, I've been reading a lot of forums and still deciding what I should do. I'll be buying new tires soon and I'm concerned about camber wear. The concensus I found is that the tire wear is minimal even without a camber kit as long as the toe settings are zero. Looking at my existing tires, they do seem to exhibit some camber wear. One side of the tire is also bald while the other side still have about 10% tread remaining.
I'm considering changing the suspension back to stock specs not just because of my anxiety of camber wear but also because the car's underside gets stratched or banged when I slowly go over speed bumps or bumpy roads.
Not sure how old the shocks are or if they are still any good. I push down on all four corners of the car and it returns back to normal without a lot of excessive play.
Should I stick with my what I have or spend the extra $$$ and change the suspension back to stock? Will I need to change both springs and shocks or just the springs? Will OEM Type R shocks/springs work eventhough mine is a 4 door? I also heard that I need different lower control arms for the rear because it's different.
Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

If you have no performance goals for the car, return it back to stock and save yourself some headaches and time. In which case you will be getting new dampers and springs anyhow (OEM). If you want to use the ITR shocks, you will need to get ITR rear lower control arms, as they use a different "box-style" mounting point, while the other Integras have a fork style mount and LCA. Other than that, it will work on your DB no problem.
Anytime the car is raised or lowered you'll want to get an alignment though, so even after going back to stock (or otherwise) go get an alignment done and save your tires!
