I just put a set of Kuhmo W404's on my 90 hatch. They are awesome. I didn't have them studded and they now have 5 trips up the mountian with severe snow and ice conditions. Plain and simple...they rock for the price. $44 a pop for 185/60/14's

I ordered thru my local Discount Tire store and they matched their online price on Discounttiredirect.com
Go with the 185/60/14's, you actually want a skinnier tire in the snow. I almost went with 175's, but the wheels I put them on were 6" not 5.5 like stock.
