Default anybody have problems with mugen header?

hey i just bought a used mugen header for my 2001 GSR, and when i went to get it installed its hitting the oil catch pan, the head bolts up nicely, but just the bottom part is hitting the oil pan good, i'm pretty sure there should be at least 7mm gap between the header and oil pan, anybody else have this problem? the guy that did the install said it is for a b16 engine, but on the header the part# says its for usdm itr/gsr, what are my options at this point besides spending more money on getting a new oil pan or should i just sell it and get another header, but damn the mugen header looks so sweet in my bay for that brief moment, is it safe for the header to be that snugged against the oil pan? or is that a for sure NONO
thanks any help would be great

Its most likely a B16a mugen header. B18 motors dont vary in size between countries so its not the right one for your car.

I had a mugen header a while back (the one with the heat shields on the front) and the part number on the JASMA badge is a JASMA cert number and has nothing to do with the model of car/engine the header fits. Its clearly not the right header for your car and is most likely for a B16a motor. Do not install it if its touching your oil pan...
1. It will heat the oil up.
2. You could end up damaging the oil pan.
3. Its not designed for that car!

is there anywhere on the header that i can get the part # for then?
thanks

yeah one more thing the funny thing is that this header came off a JDM b18c1 motor
and i dont see why it should not fit, cus by looking at the block i dont see no change over the years
but yeah this sucks though
this header is sweet
