Default check engine light tonight, but fixed after resetting ecu... cause?

hey guys

tonight when i went to start up my car, the check engine light was on, and the idle was fairly erratic. it felt like the car was going to stall / die.

since i was in a rush i could not pull codes from the ecu, but after i resetted it, the car idled fine and the light was gone.

anybody know what might have caused this "bogging?" bad fuel filter?

should i still be worried about it if the problem is not present?

thanks

Seriously, it doesnt sound serious. If it were big issue, it would have been consistant. Now if it happens again, I would look into why.

a code 67 will do it sometimes. Its for cataylist efficency below threshold, somthing with the cat or secondary o2, mine comes on for it every so often and then disappears, just a thought, id retrive the code next time for a little more insight to the problem

im still trying to figure out how to fix that bitch code 67....its ghey, my cat is new and i have a new o2.

The cel might be due to cold weather and like someone said earlier...might just be a hiccup. If there really is a problem, the code will come back...check it then
