integra 94 ls compatible with 96 ls head?

Default integra 94 ls compatible with 96 ls head?

alot of my friends say that 94 ls integra is compatible with my 96 ls head...i blew my original head (the 96 ls head) and got a 94 ls head..now my car is makin sounds comin out from my intake...on certain idles.. but when im drivin i dont hear anythin but only when it idles..i would like to know if 94 ls is compatible with my 96 coz when i went to a japan parts i was checkin the parts hand book it says that:

94 ls integra motor is b18a/b1

and my 96 ls is b18b1

i dont know if any one already did a kind of this swap...thanks!

94-01 b18 are all the same home skillet. you shouldnt have a problem @ all swappn them

^^^ word, the only difference is that the 94-95 are obd1 and the rest are obd2. But that doesnt really matter when switching heads.

What exactly went wrong with your original head? Saying it simply "blew" is not very descriptive.

It is possible that when you "blew" the head, you damaged the bottom end of the engine also.
