Thanks for the heads up.

It is not looking so good for the USA though...Jeff Gordon should hold his own...but Travis "I may drive awesome or I may just totally blow it and crash out" Pastrana...who knows what he will do.

Is this the best we can do for American drivers?

USA : Jeff Gordon (NASCAR) - Travis Pastrana (X-GAMES)

and these men, ladies and gentlemen are going to represent our country in the race of champions...well alright! </sarcasm>

on a serious note...i noticed they're lacking a Japanese team...i find this odd

Can't say anything for Travis Pastrana, but imo Jeff Gordon is easily one of the best American drivers. He is seriously good and imo again, he is up there in talent with the best drivers in the world.

Agreed, people just give him a hard time because he drives a nascar and its painted in rainbow colors. but seriously a few of the nascar guys are really talented drivers ie. Tony Stewert, said J Gordon and Carl Edwards. They race nascar for the money, but if you ask them what they would like to race most of them say rally or F1.

Yup. He may have a "pretty boy" reputation but he can drive! Look at how many times he's won at Sears Point and Watkins Glen.

I always thought it was a shame that Gordon let his talent waste away in NASCAR. But if you look at his bank account...he made the right choice there.

Over $75 million in earnings since 92'. Thats just prize money, before contracts, sponsors/endorsements, Pepsi commercials..etc. Sad part is I think Brooke owns half of that right now, lol!

Damn straight. If you can't grasp that Gordon is a talented driver, even among intl. competition, then that's your problem. FYI - Gordon has beaten Alsonso in prior RoC competiton. Get over it.

Results are up on the website. I'll refrain from talking about them if anyone hasn't watched it yet.

They *REALLY* should go back to the Gran Canaria rally course for the event instead of the makeshift dirt-autocross track inside of a soccer stadium thing they've done the last couple of years.

well...my comments were ignorant...i honestly had no idea nascar drivers were talented drivers but
