My radiator smokes but the temp doesn't go up
I just changed my timing belt/water pump not less than six months ago. Also changed my thermostat at the time. I think my radiator is really dirty. It smokes and I can smell something as though it's overheating. If I was to flush the cooling system what are the chances that the overheating/smoking radiator would stop?
Your radiator cap might be bad. I had the same problem and it ended up being the cap and radiator being eaten up around the cap area so it would leak pressure through the cap.
