Default Need help. Just bought 1988 Acura Integra

I just bought a 1988 Acura Integra LS and I dont know what to do with it first. So I was wondering what would be wise to get first with an extremely low budget? Thank you for your recommendations and post.

ok.. well why would you buy that? i hope you got a good deal... if the engine is ok, start with suspension, but i would swap in a b16 engine and do suspension. damn that would be fast. thats what i want to do with my 87 integra LS.. but i wanna finish my 92 gsr first.

hmM.. 1st gen teg.. =\ yeah i'd do a motor swap first, then suspension.. cheapest would be a b16, get strut bars.. then stripp your interior. you should be feather weight with a 160hp with that b16. then fix up ur suspension and you should be good to go..

i would first make sure the car is running strong. Check all bushings and balljoints. Then do any neccessary maintenance the car needs. After all that i would look into any aftermarket/performance mods.

If it runs good, it sounds like a hell of a deal. Either way i would say do the motor swap first.

tune up, tune up, tune up... and then check suspension components... relube the nessary components and then replace whatever bushings that are worn out.

I am going to take some pictures of the car when I get my digital camera back. The car just got a new exhaust put on it before I got the car. But other then that the car runs like a charm for having 180,009 miles on it. The exhaust makes the car real quiet too. My clutch is still stiff also. It also shifts smoothly.
