Oil Control Jet???
specs: 1.5L 1993 5 spd civic dx (D15B7)
Just got the head back from the machine shop and started to put everything back together. The head is now back on the block and my dad remembered a little o-ring being in between #2 and #3 cylinders, on the alternator side when we had disassembled everything. My dad remembered that when he was using the compressor to blow the antifreeze out from around the cylinders an oring flew out (oil control jet oring?). We looked it up in chilton's and theres a picture of something called an oil control jet, with an oring in/on it. Do i need to buy an oring or will the head gasket seal this on its own?? I called my local auto parts store and nothing could be found in their database.
any suggestions? thank you

yes you need the o ring, it seals the outside surface of the oil control jet to the block, if you have one to compare it to it would be a matter of buying a variety pack of o rings at the auto parts, if not then youll need to go to honda
