GSR rod bearings on LS rods?
Can GSR rod bearings fit on LS rods. I got the idea from the intertune DVD, they used GSR rod bearings on B16 rods, but it required some machining done to it. Will a Ls/vtec bottom end with Ls internal with stand the high reving?
yes, you just have to have your ls rods re tanged for the thinner gsr bearings, exactly like they did with the b16a in the video. Get arp rod bolts, have the rods resized and re tanged for the gsr bearings and have your bottom end balanced. Throw in a set of p30 or jdm p73 pistons and you have a very goor starting point for a short block

Thinner width and coated bearing= less drag and more hp. The gsr bearings are also a tri metal bearing as opposed to the bi metal ls bearings and hold up alot better at higher rpw's
