Default problem with auto to stick conversion need help

we converted the auto to a stick
but one major problem.
we put in the motor w/the manual tranny and the passenger side motor mount does not bolt on to the tranny, if it goes on, the motor is on unevenly.

we had our friend come over to look at his car which is the same EXACT car as mine but his is manual. and the bracket on the frame that holds the tranny mount is different..
i guess the chassis has a little difference from a manual because of that bracket
anyone had this kind of trouble before? any place that i can get a mount.
what should i do.
any help will be appreciated
thanks

You will need to go to the Dealership and get a new mount. I think they are around $20-25. Just drill the spot welds out and weld the new one in its place.

Want to talk about a headache, check our latest project.

97 civic EX automatic
1st gen b16a (white plug )
JDM GSR Automatic transmission
JDM GSR Auto ECU

The worst part is the crower rods, itr pistons, ctr cams, ferrea valves, springs, retainers, guides he's putting on it. This engine is going to be soooo nasty, yet I bet it's still gonna run 16's in the quarter.

I forgot to mention that we're gonna have to cut the **** out his frame to make it work. That tranny is just a little too big.

Dude, don't cut anything!!!!!! I did the same swap before and what we did was bolt the mount to the car first, and then you will see that there are two bolt holes that line up with the transmission. You will need to use these two instead of the three that are supposed to work. Trust me. I have done it, years ago, and the guy races the **** out of his setup

he has a drag3 turbo kit on a d16z6, I did the auto to manual swap. 2 bolts work fine.

try giving Place racing a call they sell the mount for transmisson swap. so you don't need to customize anything.
