LOL, The D16A6 is what comes in the EF (ED) si. Then there is a D16A1 that is in the 88-89 integra. The DOHC ZC just says ZC on it. So I am guessing it's the SOHC ZC. There is no D16A that has Vtec.

SOHC ZC says ZC on it too.

Its probably the d16z6 SOHC VTEC equivelant like someone else said

There is...as Jlicrx has shown..there is so much debate about this motor i dont think ive ever seen a definitive answer as to exactly what it is..what its specs are and where its from. To my knowledge, it came out of jdm 94-95 civic exs or sis...it has 130hp and vtec and is very similar to a d16z6. Anyone have any info that will like put an end to these mixed answers?

we installed a D16A in a customer's car - he brought the engine and car to us - it was VTEC-E which is listed on some sites as 118hp

we also bought a Civic once that had a D16A non-VTEC in it

here is something from Honda on EK D16A:

HMotors said they have it labeled from their Supplier as 130 HP> Torque N/A
but was just wondering if all the D16z6 parts are interchangable.

is their difference in wiring for JDM vs USDM engines? or is it the same?

The only major difference in wiring is USDM uses a 4 wire O2 and JDM uses a 2 wire.
