Default 96-98 Power window

I have a 97 Civic with power windows. The drivers side window isn't on track. Is this a big problem or is it something that is an easy fix. And will I need any type of other parts.

Its most likely not a big deal. Im not sure how to put it back on the track but if you take it to a mechanic he should be able to do it in a few minutes and it wont cost you much. I had a manual window come off and the mechanic had to take the door apart and tighten some bolts. Worst case scenario youll have to pay and hour labour like me. If you feel comfortable taking off your door panels you could try to do it yourself.

remove the door panel. there is one screw in the little cup in the arm rest and one under the door handle. there are also two in the speaker area. The rest of the door panel is held on little plastic clips.

After the door panel is off.. look towards the bottom front edge of the door. there should be one brass screw. Remove that and you can manipulate the track that holds the window in.
