Well guys, my time has come , and my time has gone.... the ITR was a great caR and very fun. I always loved the car and had many aspirations for it. I decieded to sell her and get into a new car because I wanted to help establish my credit as well as get a new car with a warrenty that was stock... My R was modded and had about 80k on it.. not too bad still a young car but it was just time ya know.
'
I gave it to a dealership becaues they offered me what I was selling it for as a trade and I got into an 06 350 z for the same payment.
The ITR: great handling, great interior, had awsome body lines. and too many other pros to list.
The 350: also Great handling very stiff suspension, great acceleration w/300 HP 266 tq. Interior is so amazing and the styling of the new o6 with the wheels and newly designed lights are amazing. 6-speed greatness and Hid's are amazing.
all in all I love all you guys and this ITR family, I will not leave here I will be around just as much only now I have a Z lol.
Godspeed.

In most states, that means you actually got more than you were selling it for, when you take into account the amount of sales tax that you saved. (In most states other than California, you only pay sales tax on the difference you paid, not on the entire purchase price of the new car.)

I definatly will, the ITR is a dying breed and as much as I would have liked to collect it and keep it. I knew that its just one of those things that I hade to move on. I have many other goals in my life at this point ... maybe one day I will buy one strictly for a track car... if not ... I will still be here in support.

This is very true. I know those bastards are malesting her right now and probably bouncing the rev limiter and doing god knows what to her... but they said its going to the auction ... so if anyone on here lives in florida keep a look out at the auctions .. there will be my PY for sale there sometime soon. may get it for cheap.

Congrats on the new purchase. I haven't had the privilege of driving an '06 350Z but I'm sure the hype is real. Did you get the Brembo package?(not sure if it's still offered). Color? Forged Rays wheels? Pics?
Good luck trying to keep her stock

Well, since you asked... It's a nice car, depending on what you're looking for and which model you're looking at. Their lower priced models are pretty stripped and don't have a lot of the things I would look for in a car these days. The higher priced models are better, but... It's still not as much of a pure sports car IMO as some other cars on the market, particularly due to its hefty weight, almost 3400 pounds, which is significantly heavier than even an Evolution 9 or a WRX STi, both of which are already pretty heavy but at least have AWD to go with their similar power. The looks are a matter of personal taste, of course, but I don't find them particularly attractive, although not as in-your-face fugly as the Evo or STi. If I were looking in this price category (low to mid thirties, ignoring the "stripper Z") and I wanted a sports car, I'd get the Evo or STi, despite their looks; if I wanted a sporty luxury car to tool around in, I'd get a TL. All of this assumes you got a coupe. If you are talking convertibles, I'd get a stook, no question.
There are a lot of nice cars on the market these days, in all price brackets, and you can have fun and enjoy any of them...

Didn't read the whole thing cause your a sellout....
Me personally I really liked the Z until I actually got in one. The interior just seemed really cheap to me. Instead of brushed aluminum, it was aluminum looking plastic. Either way whatever makes you happy is all that counts. Congrats on the new purchase.
Now you'd better bring that thing to the FL meet fool.
