I have a 1992 honda civic VX and just want to know if a d16z6 head will fit right on, I mean does the d15z block have the oil for vtec in the some spot for the vtec head? thanks

 

Head should fit, search for mini-me. I know there's a mammoth thread out there that I'm sure has all the possible combinations as well as what all needs to be changed to make it work.

I HAVE A HEAD FOR YOUR CAR IF YOU STILL NEED IT, IT HAS BEEN BUILT: TITAINUM SPRINGS AND RETAINERS BIGGER VALES, WITH SOME KIND OF CHROMAG-SOMETHING OR ANOTHER METAL THAT IS TEMPERED AND HAS BEEN DECKED, AS WELL AS MUSH OTHERS

 

It will fit, but the VX pistons have such a large dish that you'll lose compression and make even less power than a stock VX.
