Default BFGoodRich Tires Street Stock (Minimum Weight 2,350) Then how come

If the minimum weight is 2,350 for Street Stock NHRA. How come come CRX's are running in this class. I know a crx does not weight that much even with a driver. Everyone I know EF weights in at about 2,000 pounds. And I dont know much people that racers that weight 350 pounds.

maybe they add weight to help them out or they are really fat. fat people fit good in crx's.

Our street Stock CRX si was 2250 lbs. without bumper supports and low fuel. That was with a 160 lbs. driver and a B series. We just added a full tank of fuel and went up 90 lbs. to 2340 with driver. We plan on just adding back the bumper supports and a few modification to bring it to legal weight.

Well I have a EK that I want to race in Street Stock, so i am over weight but I just wanted to know so I know that i am not in unfair match ups. I dont want to be racing with basically full interior to keep weight, and then some underweight crx beats me lol.

Don't worry, they weigh you after every run and if you are under the run doesn't count.

pretty much the weight adders are:

-fuel
-4 DOT wheels with tires
-full exhuast
-both fornt seats
-cage/rollbar in some instances

so you can add wieght if you're under ... my old CRX unstripped with built b-series was 2370 lbs with a 270 lb driver.

lol ... changed drivers weight

i'm 245lbs and i still had to add weight to the car! how much weight you might ask, about 210lbs the car managed to hold it's own for a while, but the lack of power keeped me from better times. the fastest i went was 13.0@105.5mph, i hope to better those #'s next year!
