'02 S2000.........what is the diameter of the piping? 2.5"? And the mufflers are free flowing? Twinloop?

This is just what I've heard, I don't really know but have someone local selling the exhaust and was thinking of using one of the mufflers and what piping I could use + buy to weld together a "custom" exhaust for my 99SI. I just wonder how it would sound though. Its a thought.

well i meant custom more in the fact that i would have to fabricate it together

yes i know exactly what you are talking about... it's been done a lot...

and you've got the right idea... you cut one muffler off and patch the hole.. then you weld another pipe on to match it up to your cat

Should sound good. I say go for it if you're getting a good deal. Can probably sell the other muffler for like $50 too.

 

i haven't heard one in person but i've heard from word of mouth that it sounds good... i noticed you're from va... i know a few people down in va beach that have done it a couple of times.. on their stock exhaust and have sold it to civic and integra drivers....

you can pick up a used s2000 exhaust for around 50 bucks or so.....
