new color, same valve cover
Mine is painted exactly the same, color and everything, i even painted over the letters too!! THe color might be different but from the picture it looks exactly like mine. The color i used was the same color as my body color. I had a paint shop make a can of body color paint for me.

Sorry don't have pix yet, still need to purchase a digi cam, and don't wanna waste money on a scanner, but if i can scan some pics i will. Sorry i'm cheap, i spend all my money on my car when im supposed to get my digi cam, hahahahaha. LOL!!
do you need high-temp paint for that or no? because i have olive drab and a B16a, and my cover is written on. but the olive drab isn't high-temp, so i'm kind of worried about using it.
i have painted all my valve covers and no you dont have to use high temp on the valve cover.....i never did and had no problems with that...olive drap is a bad *** color too....
I painted my valve cover with a can of high temp red/orange. After that I sprayed a coat of color matched red which wasn't heat treated. I took a black permanent marker and colored the lettering. It's been that way for almost a year now and it has never flaked or anything. I left the stock rough textured finish on whether that make a difference or not I'm not sure.
