i have been trying for so long to find a track to go to. We used to have one at Bronson Field but it was shut down awhile back. I remember a friend of mine talking about a track in bainbridge, GA..but i was hoping to find one a little closer.


I will be moving from Pensacola to Tallahassee in the beginning of January.

 

If you're in Pensacola, the closest tracks I know of are Barber Motorsports Park (good luck getting in there, though) and Talladega Grand Prix (lots of clubs run there). Check out the "So you want to drive on a racetrack" thread at the top.

Don't know about autocross in your area, sorry.

 

There are no tracks at Bronson and Bainbridge. Those are autocross venues.

The Dixie Region (Tallahassee) autocrosses at Bainbridge and occassionally at Mariannas.
Wiregrass (SE Alabama) is on a great helicopter base in Dothan.
Middle Georgia uses a race track parking lot in Cordele.

Those are the closest autocrosses to you. We're working on something at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, but these days security is an issue.
Still might happen, but probably not.
