spoon Axleback question
They may not work but they will fit. I know of a 96spec ITR that arrived here in ireland with a spoon street exhaust from a civic bolted to it. My broter had a EJ2 coupe and my OE 96spec axle back bolted on to it no problem except that it was about an inch or two short of clearing the underside of the bumper

Why would you want to do that? Isn't the stock DC5 piping mandrel bent and of larger diameter?

I'm guessing No, it's Not a direct fit/bolt up.
But it looks like noone knows for certain here and I can't say I blame them.
Maybe try the RSX forum to see if anyone there knows.
Silly question but why not just get an exhaust that's already made for your car? I mean there's already a ton out there readily available and you won't have to go hack job it up or deal with wondering online what hybrid setup "might" fit.

The DC5 R exhaust is very different. The exhaust bends differently due to the cat connection and header being in the rear of the engine bay as opposed to in the front on a DC2. Major modification would have to be preformed to get this to work.

Sorry, I didn't clarify. I would use this old Tsudo 2.5 cat back and weld the can on. I just need to find a DC5 Spoom N1 can. I saw one around a few months back.
No, you cannot put a DC5 Axle back on a DC2. I tried. Routing is all wrong.

i tried a dc5 exhaust on my itr and all the bends seem to route the right way. the only thing is it's a little short and the flange needs to be turned a bit. nothing any local muffler shop cant do. hope that helps
