So I swap my Blown motor out of my 91 crx and the car wont start now. So I did a search and found out that I need to check the main relay. Well I Bought a New relay. Installed it today. And Now I have no sound coming from the fuel pump or Fuel Pressure. Is there any other Fuse's I need to look for?

 

do you have the ground wire at the thermostat housing connected?

 

Yes. And the Tranny is grounded as well.

 

what you can do is.. check the fuel pump at self to see if it pumps, also you can check the fuse.. see if anything there is blow. common one is the alternate solenoid. mostly likely if you dont hear the fuel pump start then your car will not start.. so solve that problem first.

did u reconnect the battery?

does the Check Engine Light come on when you first turn the key to ON ?

 

Ok that battery is dead. but I jump it off every time . Now all the grounds are Connected. The Check engine light comes on as I turn the key. Then you will hear the Beeping noise untill the key is turned forward. Now i unhooked the fuel line and turned the key forward and there is NO fuel Pressure.

 

ok.. now you have to give the pump 12v directly from the battery to see if it works. if it does then there is something wrong w/ the wiring between the main relay and the fuel pump.

 

The car was running 2 months ago.


And do I have to drop the tank to check the Pump?

 

U CANT HEAR the fuel pump priming?

 

Fuel Pump makes No noise. But Like I said . Before the motor Blew the car was running.

 

MY FIRST crx did the same thing and it was the main relay.....replaced main relay and then blew like 3 fuses.....check fuses!

 

Checked all fues's All are good.

 

we did a swap on my friends crx and the same thing happend, i made a jumper harness for him instead of the main relay and now the car runs just fine. PM me if you want to know how to make one.
