Wires and bulb sockets got all wet, will it be OK?
I got a stripped civic shell and its been sitting outside for a while. It been stormed on by the rain, and much of the wires/sockets got wet. For example, the rear tail light bulbs are missing, therefore the sockets got wet.
I've never worked on electrical that much, so I'm very very clueless. Assuming that everything dries up, Will things like those rear tail light bulb sockets be OK? Or will I need to replace the wiring systems and sockets?
thanks guys/gals

im ghetto so my answer mite be bad but. if everything dries i would think it would all be fine, perhaps clean the connections if possible since rust or whatever mite pop up. and i would recommend perhaps covering your car next time.
ok, clean the connections to try and stop rusting.
but other than that, it wouldnt cause an electrical short or anything, would it? thats my biggest concern.

As long as it's dry and cleaned you will not have a problem.
Hint.... To clean the sockets dip the whole thing into a glass of water and baking soda, then dry off, that works on batt. terms. also, but on a batt. just pour it on the term.
