I was riding in a buddies 95 gsr and we were gettin on an onramp and just felt a weird loss of power. We could still go buy vtec wasnt engaging and it seemed sluggish. Almost to his house and we just sotp in an intersection. With cars coming at us we pushed it out of the road. Shut off engine and it wont come back on. Open the hood and a spark plug wire is unplugged. Plug it back in, same thing. So we tow it home. Car is gettin no spark at all. He had a vtec controller stolen last week and was getitn 3 CEL lights, but I reired up his ECU and they went away, and car ran fine. What could be causing this? I took apart his distributer and even swapped the coil with an extra I had and same thing. Could it be the igniter? Any suggestions are helpful. Thanks people I know honda-tech will prevail with a remedy.

 

replace the cap/rotor/ignitor/coil. are the spark plug wires junk? is it getting fuel? check all the fuses and main relay. what were the 3 CEL's?
