HONDATA IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE POWER! (or if you like IB, MAKE THE POWER)

Unless you talk to someone other than a hondata ****, there's the AEM ecu and the Apexi PowerFC among some others. Gains are going to depends on tuning obviously and the parts used.

call Dave @ R&D, Mike @ IPS or for hondata sgT on this forum sells them as well. Not sure what the going price is but check groupbuycenter, there might be a group buy on them as well. Also, try doing a search, you'll find a lot of info on them.

You should expect $500 in tuning. Lots of tuning is involved to get the best results. I have 4 hours in tuning in mine and it still isn't perfect even though I did gain about 15 hp midrange and 10 top.

So Hondata is something like a VAFC type deal? But more advanced? Someone "edujoomacate" me here. I'm so in the dark about Hondata.

http://www.hondata.com

From what I've seen or inferred, Hondata allows modification of BASE maps (both Lo and Hi Cam), rather than tricking the ECU via voltage manipulation - ala V-AFC.

V. - who likes the 3D fuel & timing maps for "bling bling" factor.

Woo hoo. I answered my own questions using search...how about the legality of this all? Any worse than a VAFC?
