when im driving my car its fine until i get up to 3000 rpm then it starts jerking and wont get past it plus my check engine light is on and if i let the car idle after a while the engine light will cut on whats the problem
what is tps and what should i look for on the red lights of the ecu

pull the carpet back on the passenger side footwell....how many red flashes are there for from the ECU?

 

check the tps

 

hahhaha you are only running on three cylinders. check that ur wires are connected to ur spark plugs good and into ur cap. you might need a new cap and rotor. plus check ur spark plugs too

 

when you turn the car on does the idle fluctuate? whens the last time youve done a tune up? are you getting fuel through the lines? Have you replaced your fuel filter? It could be many things...ur best bet is finding out why the check engine light is on..thatll tell you if you have a cylinder misfire or if its something else...
