60mm Exhaust + 2.5'' Cat, will they bolt up?
I'm going to be putting on a complete exhaust system in a couple of days. I just ordered a 2.5'' Carsound cat, and the cat back is a 60mm Greddy exhaust. If I get a 3 bolt flange welded to the Carsound cat, will they bolt up?
I'm not worried about the header side of the cat because it will use a 2.5'' collector that should bolt up nicely to my AN-R header.

It should be fine. there is only a 0.138" difference. Worse case you may need to hog out the holes a little. My last two greddy exhausts bolted on with out any issues.

My Greddy MX bolted up fine but I used a 2-1/4" carsound cat and welded on my own flanges. Check the exhaust hole size in the Greddy 3-hole flange mine was much smaller than the ID of the exhaust. I assume this was to fit a stock cat. A little work here with a grinder can remove quite a bottleneck.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm gonna try my luck w/2.5'' 3 bolt flange then. Hopefully the difference is negligable.
